Free resources and occasional updates

You can download our guides without giving us your email. If you choose to receive updates, we collect your email and consent, plus any optional name, profession, interests, learning interests and comments you provide. We also record the submission time, resource, page and campaign tags supplied in the link you followed.

We use these details to send occasional information about our guides, experiments, workflows and architectural visualization resources, and to understand which subjects interest our audience. The legal basis is your consent. Email and an affirmative consent choice are required only to request updates; the other fields are optional. Not completing the form does not affect access to the guide.

Contact enquiries

If you contact us about a project, we use the details and message you send to respond and discuss the requested service. Processing necessary to take steps at your request before a contract is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Other professional enquiries are handled on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to business correspondence.

Service providers and international processing

The website and resource form use Framer. Responses to the resource form are stored in Google Sheets. These providers process data to deliver hosting, form submission and storage services. Data may be processed outside the European Economic Area. Their published safeguards include standard contractual clauses and, for eligible transfers to certified US organisations, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

See Framer’s data processing terms and Google’s transfer safeguards. We do not sell the information you provide.

How long we keep it

We keep update preferences until you withdraw consent or we stop providing these updates. Enquiry information is retained while the enquiry or related professional relationship remains active. Where necessary, a restricted record may be retained afterwards for applicable legal obligations or the establishment, exercise or defence of claims.

Your choices and rights

You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing oterovisual@gmail.com with “Stop updates”. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. You may also request access, correction, erasure, portability, restriction or objection where applicable, using the same email or postal address above. We may request information needed to verify your identity.

You can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD). This form does not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
