Who is responsible?

Free resources and course waitlist

You can download our guides without giving us your email. If you join the waitlist, we collect your email and consent, plus any optional name, profession, learning interests, preferred language and comments you provide. We also record submission time, resource, page and campaign tags supplied in the link you followed. We use these details to send updates about this course, including its launch and enrolment, and to understand which subjects prospective students want to learn. The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Email and affirmative consent are required only to join the waitlist; other fields are optional. Joining does not enrol you in a paid course or commit you to a purchase. Not completing the form does not affect access to the guide.

Service providers and international processing

The website and resource form use Framer. Responses to the resource form are stored in Google Sheets. These providers process data for hosting, form submission and storage. Data may be processed outside the European Economic Area. Their published safeguards include standard contractual clauses and, for eligible transfers to certified US organisations, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. We do not sell your information.

How long we keep it

We keep course waitlist details until you withdraw consent or we stop providing course updates. Where necessary, a restricted record may be retained afterwards for applicable legal obligations or the establishment, exercise or defence of claims. To unsubscribe, email oterovisual@gmail.com with “Stop updates”.

Your choices and rights

You may request access, correction, erasure, portability, restriction or objection where applicable by emailing oterovisual@gmail.com or writing to the postal address below. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time; withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing. We may request information needed to verify your identity. You can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).

These forms do not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. External services apply their own privacy notices. We will update this policy when our purposes or processing arrangements change.
